Words Might Fly

I created Words Might Fly as a hub for writers and readers to come together, discover each others work, and create a supportive community. Enjoy! And please do get involved, have a go at some of my prompts, leave a comment on my work, or ask me a question on any of my blog posts.

About Rachel

I’m a writer of short stories in a range of genres, and am currently working on a crime mystery novel. Recently, I thought it’d be fun to develop my flash fiction skills too.

I also write non-fiction articles, most commonly on horses and riding, as I’m a qualified riding instructor.

I’m an active member of two writing groups in the local area, Royston Writers Circle, and Cambridge Writers. I am the treasurer for the Royston lot, and have just redesigned and relaunched the website and social media for Cambridge Writers.

When not writing, I love most outdoor sports, and can be regularly found horse riding, cycling, running, walking or swimming (even outdoors, in the UK!)

I grew up in a small village near Manchester, and went to university in the city, which I loved. I’ve lived in the South East ever since, currently in Cambridgeshire, and have had to admit that it is sunnier down here!
